Behind the numbers

How we calculate your savings

No black box. Here's the exact logic the calculator runs — the same back-of-the-envelope maths our engineers use before a survey in Bahria Phase 8 or F-11.

Bill → units consumed

We divide your monthly bill by the average Pakistan slab tariff (~Rs 45 per unit) to estimate how many units (kWh) your home burns each month. Already know your units? Switch to the Units tab and skip the guesswork.

Units → system size

Rawalpindi and Islamabad average roughly 4 productive sun-hours a day. We divide your daily units by that to size the array, so a typical 550–700 unit home lands around a 4–5 kW system — comfortably mounted on a standard DHA or Bahria Town rooftop.

Savings & payback

Generation times tariff gives your monthly saving; with net metering, extra daytime units roll back your meter. Divide the system cost by yearly savings and you get payback — usually 3 to 4 years — followed by 20-plus years of near-free power.

ⓘ These figures are honest estimates, not a binding quote. Roof orientation, shading, your inverter choice and the latest panel prices all shift the final number. After a free on-site survey anywhere in Rawalpindi, Islamabad or beyond, we hand you an exact, all-in cost with net-metering paperwork included.

The assumptions

Numbers you can trust

We tune every estimate to real twin-cities conditions — not optimistic brochure figures. Here's what sits under the hood.

~4 sun-hours / day

Rawalpindi and Islamabad average roughly four productive peak-sun hours daily across the year — the figure we size every array against, so summer and winter both add up.

~Rs 45 per unit

We base savings on the average national slab tariff. As tariffs keep climbing, your real-world savings only grow — we keep the estimate conservative on purpose.

Net metering included

Extra daytime units roll your IESCO meter backwards. We handle the full net-metering application end to end, so the daytime power you don't use still pays you.
